Enrich your roots through folk music, insightful presenters, and choral music with heritage. Branch out to try on new ideas for teaching and thinking about education. Shake those leaves with our best local artists in the middle of our dining and culture hub! Come to Wichita this October for a regional conference that will send you home enriched and inspired for the coming school year. This conference includes a weekend of sessions for teachers (usually three concurrent sessions to choose from at any time) as well as an honor choir of 5th-8th graders from Kansas up to Canada, and the Great Lakes to Kentucky. Singers will be selected based on teacher recommendation. Please spread the word about this to teachers and students who might attend!

They're curious - engaged - skilled musicians... you probably already see them in your mind, and THOSE are the singers to invite to join the MKMEA 2015 Honor Choir!

We're thrilled to announce Ms. Nina Kindt as Choir Director! Let a handful of your 5-8th grade students know they're bound to greatly enjoy a weekend in Wichita making excellent music with 100 other young musicians. Applications are due May 31.

Session Proposals Due July 1
