The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is the premier high school football game in the nation. Produced by All American Games, this Bowl features the nation's top high school senior football players and marching musicians. Students selected as one of the 125 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band (USAAAMB) members receives an all-expenses-paid trip to San Antonio, TX to march in the halftime performance of the All-American Bowl at the Alamodome.

The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) is the official selection partner of the United States Army All-American Marching Band and partners with title sponsor, the U.S. Army, along with Drum Corps International and All-American Games.

Each year these partners select one member of the marching band to receive a $1,000.00 scholarship to be used towards a music education degree at a college or university of the student's choice. This year the 2014 scholarship was presented to Aislinn Walters, a senior alto saxophonist from Hays High School in Hays, Kansas. Aislinn is a three year KMEA All-State Band member and plans to pursue a music education degree at Fort Hays State University. Aislinn stated, "Being a member and participating in the 2014 USAAAMB was one of the best times of my life and receiving the scholarship was wonderful!" Craig Manteuffel, Aislinn's high school band director said, "Aislinn had an awesome experience and made friends from all over the nation. These students are some of the best and brightest from all over the United States and I have no doubt that Aislinn will be a future leader in the music education world!"

The USAAAMB provides an experience that students will never forget, that teaches valuable 21st century skills like leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking. High school seniors chosen for the band possess exceptional musicianship, marching achievement, character, and leadership skills.
