The sharing session was outstanding with so many great ideas being presented. In order to better access those ideas, my co-chair, Hannah Nunnenkamp-Engelman, has agreed to compile all the suggestions for Tri-M activities on the Tri-M website. Please send her your list of ideas at: .
During our final session, Milton Allen, from Ohio State University, challenged everyone to unlock their Superhero Powers, no matter what career path you choose. His humor kept the students tuned in as he delivered a powerful challenge to develop your personal skills. He explained that a teacher is very much like being a "super-hero" with comparisons about our "tools," "costumes," "hideouts," and "sidekicks." After Chapter group photos were taken, the students were free to explore other sessions, rehearsals, and the exhibits. Thank you so much to all the sponsors and students who attended! May you have a wonderful end to an already fantastic school year.
I urge you to complete the required forms to apply for Chapter of the Year for 2011-2012. Information for that process will be sent to you via email. Please contact Hannah or myself if we can be of any assistance to you.
