2015 NFHS National Citation - Jean Ney

The Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) is pleased to announce that Jean Ney of Kansas City, Kansas has been selected as the 2014-15 NFHS "National Citation Outstanding Music Educator Award" recipient. She is this year's recipient representing all 50 states plus the District of Columbia. The official awards presentation will be held during the NFHS 2015 annual summer meeting. The NFHS National Citation Award is one of the highest awards presented by the NFHS in the fine arts and was first presented in 1987. This is the 28th award, of which Jean Ney is the fourth Kansas music educator to earn this distinction following Dana Hamant (2013), David Circle (2011), and Don Corbett (1999). ![]()
