2014 KMEA Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to the winners of the 2014 KMEA Student Scholarships.
All-State Groups Scholarship Application KMEA awards three $500 scholarships to high school seniors who enroll as music education majors in a four-year Kansas college or university. One scholarship will be granted in each of the performance areas of wind/percussion, strings and voice.

Austin McFarland, Friends University This memorial scholarship is named for Bob Hollowell, former Executive Director of KMEA, for his service to the organization and to the kids and teachers that he served so well during his long tenure with KMEA. In his honor, KMEA presents a $500 scholarship to a deserving college junior each year at the In-Service Workshop. TRI-M Scholarship Renae Weaver, Labette County High School KMEA awards a $500 scholarship to a Tri-M Music Honor Society member who is a high school senior and who will enroll as a music education major in a four-year Kansas college or university. A student must be a member in good standing of his/her local Tri-M chapter and national Tri-M to be eligible. Return to top |
