The President's Corner:

What a great time we had at our KMTA booth at the ISW! Thanks so much to Dana Hamant and all of those responsible for providing all our needs! And what impassioned teachers and students we met, with energized discussions about possibilities of new connections and new opportunities! One of the collegiate teachers mentioned what a bridge KMTA can be—between classroom and independent teachers—especially as many of you wear both hats. In fact, we hope some of you will take advantage of our reciprocal offer of attending the KMTA conference for a member's cost, as KMTA teachers are privileged to do, to attend the KMEA ISW. Our thrust this year is Forward Thinking: in our technology uses for and in our studios, and in polishing our skills to work with and develop all the potential of chamber ensembles. Our clinicians will encourage us to grow our business potential as we grow winning students—as they have all done! Come and grow with us!!
