Arts Advocacy Film Competition
Arts In Education Touches Lives Share how the ARTS impacted your life Short Films Wanted for Cool Prizes and Exposure! CALLING ALL STUDENTS + SUPPORTERS OF ARTS IN EDUCATION: The Kansas Alliance for Arts Education (KSAAE- ksallianceforarts.org) invites students, parents, administrators, artists, and/or arts supporters to submit a short video exploring the necessity of the arts in Kansas' education and in the lives of Kansas' citizens. This is a great project for students (in your) film, music, dance, theatre, visual art, literary arts and relevant school courses, as well as supporters of arts education. Project Guidelines: Sky's the limit! The first and final requirement = use your imagination. Videos can be dramatic, journalistic, docudrama, promotional, or something entirely other... think it up, make it up, brainstorm with your friends, and turn in something incisive, inspiring, ingenious, and incredible. Time Limit: 1-2 minutes. Prizes: Did I hear iPad? Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 entries and other categories of outstanding submissions. Videos will be posted on the KSAAE YouTube channel with a prize given to the video with the most likes.
