ISW Registration Tips & Tricks

Pre-Registration
Do you want to save time and money? I encourage you to pre-register for the ISW Workshop. Once I receive your registration by mail or online, I process it and have your badge, receipt, and ticket order form for the All-State concerts in the mail by the next day. All you need to do when you arrive for ISW is pick up a badge holder and a schedule. Please don't stand in the pre-registered line (unless you lose your badge).

Pre-registration is available at www.ksmea.org/iswreg

If your school is paying for your registration, be sure to plan ahead if you need approval for the payment. The postmark deadline is February 15. Registrations received after the deadline will be held and charged the additional $10.00 on-site fee.

On-site Registration
Did you miss the deadline? We will do our best to get you through the registration process quickly. Here are a few hints to speed up the process.
  1. Generate and print an onsite registration form: www.ksmea.org/iswreg/active_onsite.php
  2. Make sure your NAfME membership is current (must expire 3/2014 or later) and bring your NAfME card or a receipt showing that you have renewed. If you are renewing your NAfME at the workshop, please generate your renewal form from NAfME: musiced.nafme.org/login/?continue_to=renew
  3. Have your (cash or check) payment ready. The on-site fee is $80 for a member or $90 for member and spouse. KMEA does not accept purchase orders. We cannot process credit card payments at the on-site location.
  4. Check in at the tall tables in the connecting lobby and get a receipt. From there you will be directed to the queued line to have your badge typed.
Guest passes
Guest passes are available for those wishing to attend the non-ticketed concerts, who are NOT music teachers. There is a table located in the connecting lobby next to the pre-registered kiosk where our guests may receive their passes. All music teachers must register for the convention.

Need Directions?
The registration table is located in the Century II Connecting Lobby, which is immediately south of, and adjacent to, the round part of Century II.
